Man Sells Stolen Cars

Grand theft auto is a serious crime that carries grave consequences — but some criminals couldn't care less.

Redditor mindpsread recently discovered a deeply strange ad posted on Craigslist for a car in Morgantown, Virginia. While the author of the post claims to have been the owner of the car, his use of language makes him look like he's clearly stolen it — and doesn't give AF about jail time.

"I lost keys, title, registration. I can't show ownership of the car. It has 3,000 miles on it you will love it for parts it brand new u can have the whole car for $1000 or best offer u can come look at it but if u want you will have to tow it because I have no keys."

The ad has since been taken down.

Sure, it's very likely a stolen car and possibly even the original poster's neighbor's car. And yes, if you purchase this stolen car you could very likely face jail time and get a criminal record. But the worst part of this ad is that interested customers can't even pick up the stolen car — they'll have to employ a tow truck to do it for them.

What ever happened to good old fashioned criminal manners?
